Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm only in our London production kitchen located within the Mission Kitchen commercial kitchen space.

£38,000 to £40,000 per year with a potential bonus structure TBC


THE KITCHEN:

The central kitchen is a bustling, collaborative workspace filled with other restaurant prep kitchens on the same floor. While this is largely a one-person operation, you’ll be surrounded by like-minded professionals from neighbouring kitchens, providing a lively and supportive environment. You’ll have your own dedicated platform equipped with essential tools provided by Mission, including access to a shared pot wash area and ovens, alongside specialised equipment to produce our menu. The vibrant canteen area is a great spot to mingle with your neighbours and enjoy the community atmosphere.
 

THE OPPORTUNITY:

 

  • Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. 
  • You will run the kitchen as a one person operation, planning your time around the prep demand for the two cafe's. 
  • We require you to be fully flexible, however ideally only one weekend shift supporting your team.
  • Experience with stock management and ordering systems is essential

  • 20 days annual holiday entitlement. (pro rata)
  • Pay will be hourly through probation, after successful review we would move to a basic salary package.
  • 50% discount in all Farm Girl sites.

The kitchen manager opportunity will lead the production kitchen and have an integral responsibility in supporting a growing business.

 

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Kitchen Management: Oversee the daily operations of the central kitchen, ensuring efficient production and preparation of items to supply all Farm Girl locations.
  • Ǫuality Control: Maintain the highest standards of food safety, quality, and consistency across all menu items.
  • Team Collaboration: Coordinate closely with head chefs to understand and meet the needs of each Farm Girl location.
  • Inventory & Stock Management: Use Apicbase software to manage stock levels, place orders, and monitor supply requirements.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure full adherence to food safety and health & safety protocols, fostering a safe and clean working environment.
  • Waste Management: Implement waste reduction practices and manage kitchen resources effectively to minimise waste.
  • Administrative Support: Keep accurate records, manage kitchen schedules, and oversee administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations.
