ABOUT US:

 

A complete, ground up renovation of an old social club, this upmarket gastro pub will have a ground floor restaurant, cocktail bar upstairs open till late along with an outside terrace area. The venue will be an iconic destination restaurant and bar and we will look to develop the concept with more openings ahead. This will offer and incredible opportunity for an accomplished GM to grow with us and develop the team.

 

THE OPPORTUNITY:

 

A newly refurbished, upmarket gastro pub supported by a Michelin starred chef and a team of around 40 hospitality professionals. We are looking for a highly accomplished high-street restaurant and bars General Manager to join our team in the new year.

The business is led by an independent owner to whom you would report to directly.
You would join 3 months before opening and play an integral, hands-on, role in recruiting ,training and developing your team. You will lead the pre-opening operations and ensure that are SOP docs are ready.

 

WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

 

We are looking for an accomplished restaurant and bar manager that has experience in upmarket, high footfall, large team businesses.
Your experience would be from known brands in the UK, preferably independents or large high street groups.

 

YOU WILL BE ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE:

 

  • A thought through career in hospitality with consistent development from position to position.
  • Accomplished in previous positions showing consistency and good time in role.
  • Previous experience in leading a large high street restaurant in a very well know brand, or upmarket destination gastro-pub.
  • Strong guest feedback and brand awareness drawing examples from social media and trip advisor.
  • Strong commercial and operational knowledge taking ownership of your business.
  • Natural leadership talking through your previous experience in delivering an exceptional service standards and team health.
