Restaurant/Cafe General Manager
Independent brand open Monday to Sunday days only in South Kensington

We are looking for an accomplished Restaurant or Cafe General Manager to lead one of our cafes in South Kensington. Independently owned, health-focused serving holistic, fresh food and coffee with the aim of serving London's best healthy food.

What to expect:

  • Effective salary of £40,000 - £43,000 per year (Bonus TBC)
  • Contracted minimum 45 hours per week, across 5 days.
  • Weekly changing rota, requiring flexibility Monday to Sunday although as GM we expect only a few weekend shifts from you.
  • We're an all day dining Cafe, providing daytime shifts opening from 08h30am to 17h30.

The role will require you to demonstrate:

  • Your ability to lead a team to deliver an exceptional level of customer service.
  • Lead from the front, be values-led and demonstrate how you would manage the health of a team and business.
  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience in all areas of a cafe/restaurant.
  • Demonstrate your ability to lean into challenges, develop solutions and be the face of our brand at all levels.
  • Demonstrate how you drive results and performance manage your teams through mentorship and coaching.

This role will propel you forward and there is much opportunity for growth.

About you:

  • You have been working as a General Manager in a busy restaurant environment for at least the past year. You want to be part of a company that can help you flourish and become the best you can be.
  • You have a big-hearted approach will make coaching and developing other members of the team a natural focus.
  • You are a natural leader, assuming responsibility to ensure the restaurant runs to a high standard even when youre not there.
  • You’re commercially savvy and bring ideas to the table, eager to develop your overall awareness and understanding further.
  • First-class service is your priority; always prepared to seek tough feedback, working closely with the team to ensure you raise the standards every day and exceed everyone’s expectations.
