Open from 12 lunch with last orders 10pm; 7 days/week The opportunity is full time and offers you a 48 hour contract.
This is a great opportunity in an established brand, no early mornings nor late finishes as the kitchen closes at 10pm.

We are looking for an accomplished Assistant General Manager or experience Restaurant Manager looking to develop their career in a independent Italian restaurant and bar in central London.

About us:

Locale Italian is established, serving authentic Italian cuisine in an upmarket yet casual dining experience, outdoor terrace, private event space and cocktail bar. You would join a brigade of four chefs serving classic Italian Pasta, Seasonal Fish and Meat, Artisan Pizzas and Fresh Salads all made with authentic Italian products. The restaurant has a separate cocktail bar area and an outdoor terrace.

Opening Times:

Monday to Sunday from 12 noon to 10pm

You must be:

• Passionate, knowledgeable and love what you do
• Natural leader, coach and mentor, hands-on and lead from the front attitude
• A great communicator and team builder, able to build relationships at all levels
• Be self-aware, able to take on challenges and understand the expectation from your team above and below
• Accomplished in known bars and restaurants, consistent and accomplished in previous roles
• Have developed your career in hospitality from role to role

Be able to:

• Demonstrate your ability to train, develop and lead a team
• Demonstrate your previous accomplishments in bars and restaurants
• Understand brand and values and be able to define a values-led business
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and self-awareness
• Lead a large team and demonstrate how you will deliver a high standard
• Demonstrate your understanding of the relative PnL areas to your role
• Understand challenges and how to drive performance day-to-day
• Bars and wine knowledge
